Low-Interest Financing Options:

To help pay for remaining project costs or larger upgrades, New York State and local partners offer specialized low-interest loans.

  • On-Bill Recovery Loan: A NYSERDA loan where monthly payments are built directly into your utility bill. Payments are structured so they do not exceed your estimated monthly energy savings, meaning your energy savings essentially pay for the work!

  • Smart Energy Loan: Flexible financing from $1,500 to $25,000 with terms of 5, 10, or 15 years. Interest rates range from 3.49% to 7.49%.

  • Commercial PACE Financing: Commercial properties and non-profits can access Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing through the Energy Improvement Corporation (EIC).
