What is a Repair Café?

They are FREE, volunteer run, community-centered workshops for community members to bring consumer products in need of repair. Working together, volunteer fixers have been able to repair broken or faulty products like toasters, lamps, clothes, bikes, and more, keeping them out of landfills.  We're seeking volunteers – repair experts, fixers, menders, tinkerers, restorers, greeters, organizers and friendly faces. If you can or you know someone who can fix mechanical or electrical items, basic computer fixes, bike repair, wood items or small furniture, textile or jewelry repairs.
