Come learn about programs to help you reduce your energy bills, weatherize your home, and electrify your appliances! In partnership with the City of White Plains and the White Plains Sustainability Committee, Sustainable Westchester and the Mid-Hudson Regional Clean Energy Hub are hosting a free session, The Home Energy Savings Workshop, at the White Plains Public Library on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 6:30 pm.

Attendees will receive a FREE D.I.Y. Energy Savings Kit ($60 value) and a tutorial on how to use the items in the kit. The session will also cover HEAP, Empower+, GridRewards, heat pumps, insulation, and incentives for home energy upgrades. Included in the Free Energy Savings Kit:

• 2 LED light bulbs

• Window insulation

• Weatherstripping

• Foam tape for windows/doors

• Door sweep

• Foam outlet & switch gaskets
