The Saving Energy, Saving Dollars workshop will help participants learn how they can make their homes more energy efficient, teach them how to save money on their utility bills, and connect them with energy efficiency programs, incentives, and resources. This workshop includes a brief presentation, with a follow up Q & A session. FREE energy saving kits will be provided for each participant, and the kits include easy DIY improvements folks can make in their homes: complete with items such as door sweeps, weather stripping, LED light bulbs, smart power strips, etc. The workshop is free to attend and will be hosted by an Energy Advisor with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County. Sean Seary is the Putnam County Community Energy Advisor with the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Sean provides free support for residents and businesses in Putnam County looking to make their home or workplace cleaner, greener, and more cost-efficient.
