O&R is sponsoring HomeBoost Boost Kits to be available for patrons of the Ramapo Catskill Library system to borrow.
These kits allow patrons to go through a Do-It-Yourself Energy Assessment.
With HomeBoost's App, customers can easily walk through their home take photos, submit data, and get a customized energy assessment report from HomeBoost at no cost.
The report is a $99 value that O&R is covering for customers with an active account. In the report, customers will be given advice based on the data and information they submitted. They will also be informed of the programs and incentives O&R has available.
During the session, Andrew Clough will instruct patrons on how they can go through the process at their own homes, answer any questions or concerns patrons have, and help those who have completed the assessment understand their report as well as next steps. He will have applications and next step information readily available for library patrons. Andrew will also be available to help patrons understand how some of the recommendations will be done and how some recommendations can be Do-It-Yourself projects.
